Readers on unconfigured mirrors such as Vercel could not see the account-free editing controls. Show “Edit this page” beside the title and in the footer, linking to the canonical GitHub Pages editor when local submission settings are absent. Versioned manuals retain their existing online correction flow.
Heading permalink icons now follow the site's heading typography and copy the section URL without scrolling or changing the current URL. Modified clicks retain normal link behavior; clipboard failures give accessible recovery guidance.
Validation: six Playwright tests passed, including all 98 documents through Milkdown, desktop/mobile edit-link visibility and no-scroll copying. Production build passed without submission settings; verified canonical fallback links and absence of local editor routes. Screenshots inspected at 1280×720 and 390×844. Live submission was not repeated for this UI-only change.
